The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene after a robbery alarm had been triggered. Monday, while investigators were serving a search warrant on Bartkowiak’s home, they were advised a suspicious man was seen in a neighbor’s yard.
The task force went to Bartkowiak’s residence in Hayden and discovered the getaway car with the hatchet and stolen cash in the vehicle. They located Bartkowiak in the yard and took him into custody without incident.
Bartkowiak has an extensive criminal history in Kootenai County dating back to 1999.

A life experience that tops my charts so far is attending Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire and that is where “I learned to think, discuss, question and analyze, combine knowledge with goodness and acquire the intellectual skills that ensure a love of learning and a lifelong commitment to helping others.” As far as the most memorable event, that would be 9/11 because that is the only major historical event that I have lived through. I enjoy building models and photography, and love to collect things.
I enjoy volunteering at the Museum because of the knowledge contained and coupled with the amazing people who already work here, it is a great experience. My wife and I have been residents of Martin Bay since 2000. I have a collection of National Geographic magazines dating back to 1915.The National Museum of African American History and Culture is the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture. It was established by Act of Congress in 2003, following decades of efforts to promote and highlight the contributions of African Americans. The last monarch of Hawaii, Queen Lili’uokalani was born on September 2, 1838, near the Punch Bowl, on Oahu. She was the daughter of high-ranking chiefs Caesar Kapa‘akea and Anale‘a Keohokālole but at her birth she became the adopted child of chiefs Laura Konia and Abner Paki. Lili’uokalani attended the Royal School, where she learned the proper use of the English language, was trained in music, and traveled widely.Overall, I keep very busy and in my spare time some of my hobbies are reading and doing Sudoko.
